Critical Care Registry
Critical Care Registry for Medical Conditions
Bailey County Electric Cooperative (BCEC) offers a Medical Critical Care Registry for members who qualify.
If you or someone living in your household require electrical life-sustaining equipment, you may qualify for “critical care” status. Once on the Critical Care Registry, your account will be coded and our servicemen will be aware that you are a critical care member. During unexpected outages, you will receive high priority as we restore power.
Please be aware that even with unexpected outages, we cannot guarantee a time when service will be restored. If you cannot sustain any prolonged outages, it is your responsibility to make arrangements for backup power or to seek alternative accommodations that has power until your service is back on.
To register for our Medical Critical Care, please submit a completed application. You may download the application here or contact our office at 806-272-4505 to get an application mailed to you.
In addition, an original, official document signed and submitted by your physician supporting your medical need for life support equipment is required. All documentation be delivered to the Cooperative in person or can be mailed to:

It is also your responsibility to submit documentation proving critical care status each year.
Please note that participation in our Medical Critical Care registry does not prevent your service from being disconnected if your account goes unpaid. It remains your responsibility to pay for electric service that has been provided to you.
