Pay in Person:

Payments are accepted at either of our two (2) office locations from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).  We accept cash, personal or commercial checks, cashier’s checks, money orders and automatic drafts.  For your convenience, we also provide a 24-hour payment drop box at both locations. 

  • Muleshoe, Texas – 610 E. Amercian Blvd, Muleshoe, Texas 79347

  • Morton, Texas – 1744 State Highway 114, Morton, Texas 79346

For the security of you and your payment, please do not place cash in the drop box. 

Pay by Mail:

Write a check and include it with your bill payment stub along with the enclosed envelope, apply postage and drop your payment in the mail.   If you misplace our envelope, you can address the payment to Bailey County Electric Cooperative, Post Office Drawer 1013, Muleshoe, Texas 79347.

Automatic Draft:

We offer an Automatic Draft Payment program where you never have to mail your payment in again. Your electric bill can be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the due date. With Automatic Draft Payment, you will get the security of knowing that your payment will never be late. It’s easy and reliable and best of all, there is no charge for this service.

How will I know the amount paid on my electric bill if I am on Automatic Draft?
You will still receive your monthly billing statement indicating the total amount due and the due date.

What if I have a question about my bill?
Contact BCEC at 806-272-4504 if you have any questions regarding your statement.

Can payments be automatically withdrawn from a savings account?
Yes, however, federal regulations limit the number of transactions on some accounts.  Contact your financial institution for information about your specific account.

Is there a charge for this program?
No, we do not charge for this service. Most financial institutions don’t charge either.  Remember, they save time and money too!

What if I change financial institutions?
You will need to complete a new enrollment form and allow approximately 30 days for the change to go into effect. If you decide to cancel your participation in the plan, simply give us a call.
