BCEC NAMES ASSISTANT PRESIDENT/CEO
Muleshoe, TX—January 5, 2016—Bailey County Electric Cooperative (BCEC) today announced that Albert Daniel has been named Assistant President/CEO of the Cooperative. Albert has most recently served as the Engineering Coordinator. His appointment was effective January 1.
Albert began his BCEC career as a meter reader. During his 19 year tenure with the Cooperative, his positions have included staking and Assistant Engineering Superintendent. Albert’s day-to-day management responsibilities have included budget and finance, long range strategic planning and overseeing the warehouse. Prior to joining BCEC, Albert was a serviceman at Atmos Energy.
After announcing Albert’s appointment, BCEC President/CEO David Marricle stated, “Albert Daniel has served BCEC successfully with distinction. His knowledge and experience will continue to be of great value as we lead BCEC forward in providing the energy needs of our members.”

Originally from Earth, Texas, Albert and his wife, Page, reside in Muleshoe. They have two grown children: Hayden of Sayer, Oklahoma and Landrie Bach and her husband Dustin of Plainview, Texas. They have two grandchildren: three-year old Holden and 1-year old Hadlie. Albert and his wife enjoy traveling in their RV along with hunting and fishing.
Established in 1938, BCEC is a member-owned cooperative headquartered in Muleshoe, Texas. BCEC provides energy to 1,570 members in portions of Bailey, Castro, Cochran, Lamb and Parmer counties. BCEC owns and maintains 2,875 miles of line, and has 8,846 meters on their system.
